
Elderflower, Pear
Green Tea Fizz
Ingredients
4 green tea bags (single serving size)
1/2 cup honey
2 cups pear juice
1/2 cup St. Germain liqueur
Light rum (your favorite)
Brut champagne
2 lemons
Fresh mint
Directions
Bring 4 cups of water to a gentle simmer, remove from heat and add the green tea bags. Steep for 3-4 minutes, remove tea bags (do not squeeze) and stir in the honey.
Let cool some and pour into a pitcher. Add the pear nectar, St.Germain liqueur, desired amount of rum, stir and taste. If needed add more pear nectar, as different brands will vary in sweetness and flavor. Simple syrup can be added too.
Squeeze in some sliced lemon rounds and toss into the pitcher with some muddled mint. Serve with glasses filled with ice and a mint leaf, splash with champagne and garnish with a lemon wedge.
