 Materials Needed

Newspaper

Assorted sized mini wooden stars 

Mini clothespins 

Red & blue spray paint

Red & blue glitter spray paint

Hot glue gun

 

                                          These easy to make picks make any sandwich

or burger extra special.  

                                                                                          

Using two different sized stars, spray paint the larger sized star and mini clothes pins on all sides. Once dried, center and press the smaller sized star on top of the painted larger star using double sided tape. Lightly Spray with glitter paint using a second color and let dry. Be careful not to spray glitter paint on too heavily or the paint will get under the smaller star onto the larger star.  Remove smaller star and discard double sided tape.  Spray paint the unpainted side of the smaller star and let dry.  Hot glue a mini clothespin onto each star.

 Food Picks: Spray paint both sides of smaller stars on each side, let dry and hot glue wooden picks onto each star.
