Glitter Globes

Sparkle up your home this Holiday season with these glitter embellished globes.  Simply swirl your color choice of glitter inside glass bubble bowls and cylinders, place candles inside and you've created inexpensive, elegant decor to enjoy all season long.  

 

Materials Needed

Glass bubble bowls, cylinders, etc

Coarse grade glitter

Glue gel

Paper towel

Paper plate

 Candles

 

   

 

 

 

 

1. Mix 1/4 cup of glue gel with 1 cup of hot water in a medium sized bowl and mix very well.  2. Pour mixture into your glass container and swirl, coating the inside thoroughly.  3. Pour back into the bowl while spinning the glass container to coat the top edge.  4. Turn the glass container upside down onto a paper towel and let access adhesive run out. 5.  Pour a liberal amount of glitter inside the glass container and swirl until the inside is thoroughly coated.  6. Spin glass container upside down over a paper plate to coat the top edges.  Let dry.  Place a floating candle inside and light.
